Valentine’s Day has been and gone, and as you might imagine I have only small offerings this week. I’m loving eucalyptus at the moment, especially this seed/bud laden variety. I received a huge new vase for Christmas and even these branches are dwarfed by it. Can’t wait til blossom season. I also treated myself to the little grey milk bottle holding Mr William Shakespeare rose, above – there’s a whole range of colours and styles.
I love Christmas bush. Until we had one of our own in the backyard, my parents would surreptitiously cut some off bushes of them in public places in the depths of night around Christmas time.
